Well, it was an awesome summer in Montana. God is so faithful. I was able to see more clearly how He is my everything and the reason I'm living. We were very blessed to be able to reap a harvest and see a lot of people decide to follow Christ. I felt God's strength in situations where I am normally weak.          It was nice to come home Saturday and see my family and a few friends. Only a few more days until I move back to Starkville!

This week we've been commuting to Radersburg for VBS. The church that we're working at is about 100 years old. The kids have been awesome and we've had a great time. Three of the kids have accepted Christ. The pastor and his wife are letting us stay at their house this week and are some of the nicest people we've met in Montana. They have 2 birds. One likes to walk on my arm and bite at my earrings or anything shiny I''m wearing while the other sings and laughs(honestly). We are also doing door-to-door surveys. We've come across a few Christians and fewer that seem strong in their faith. One lady we were talking to started crying when we were talking to her b/c of some personal problems so Melissa and I tried to encourage her. We will be doing another VBS next week and hopefully going to Yellowstone sometime soon.

It's been an awesome and challenging time this week in Butte, MT. For the 4th of July my partners and I did a service project during the parade.(This town goes all out for Independence Day). We worked along side a singing group from a baptist college in California. On the night of the 4th of july, we found a closet on the 4th floor of the former school/church building we're staying at that had a ladder leading to the roof of the building. From there we watched fireworks all around us being shot throughout the city and we shot some of our own. It was pretty awesome.    The next 3 days Liz, Melissa, and I went on a camping trip with the youth from Park Street Baptist Church. It was a lot of fun and somewhat challenging since we had no running water/showers and it got really cold at night. We worked with the college students who led the youth in Bible studies and one-on-one's. One day we floated down a river on rafts through the mountains and today we skiied on the lake by the campground. One girl I talked to and 2 others accepted Christ into their life last night so we were all really excited for them and for how God is working in this youth group. Almost all of the kids come from difficult backgrounds so they need a lot of prayer and guidance.  Well, I think it's time to go shower now and take a nap.

God has really been teaching me a lot this summer. I know that I am nothing and can do nothing without Him. This week has been more laid back than the previous weeks here in Montana. I have been wondering how God could use me here when I felt like all I was doing was sightseeing, being fed by members of the church, and teaching a few games during VBS. Well, I was blessed today to be able to go out to the local swimming pool and talk to 3 girls about Jesus. One of them went to VBS and I got to hang out with her. She has an awesome attitude even though right now her family has hardly any food until pay day on friday. Her family can barely afford the $1.50 fee it takes for her to get into the pool. I thank God for giving me the opportunity to befriend her and share with her more about what Christ did for her. If you get the chance, please pray for the people of Boulder, MT and that God will continue to give us opportunities to share Christ with them.

Hello! I hope everyone is having a great summer. I got back into Helena yesterday after being at a week-long family/youth camp, which was awesome. I didn't get much sleep, but it was definitely worth it. Me and three others taught a children's class from 8-12 every morning. I did recreation one afternoon and at night I would help with the family and the youth canteen. We were able to hike up a mountain in glacier national park one day. When we got to the top, we saw Avalanche Lake. I have never experienced anything so magnificent in my life. It was a crystal blue lake with rugged mountains surrounding it. I wish anyone who did not believe in a creator could see it. The next day we went horseback riding. I was a little nervous, but it was a lot of fun. 7 youth and 1 child chose to follow Christ last week. The week before, when we were in Wolf Creek doing a VBS, 3 out of 6 boys accepted Christ. We have also been able to witness to a few people. It has been an awesome summer. Please pray for the one's who have accepted Christ and the seeds that have been planted will continue to grow.
